In March of 2021, the Yampa River, and all of its tributaries upstream of its confluence with the Little Snake River to the town of Steamboat Springs, was proposed to be over appropriated. On Monday 9/27/2021, we will be implementing a new dashboard to access DWR Forms. The initial change will allow you to get to the same forms you are used to filing.
This new public notice describes the procedures to meet with staff in person (walk-in) to DWR Office Locations. Please note, some offices are open by appointment only at this time.
DWR released a draft memo for public review to summarize DWR’s understanding of the distinction between an appropriative right of exchange and a Water Exchange Project included in a plan for augmentation.
